Noor Telecom Company K.S.C.C (Noor Telecom) is Kuwait-based closed-shareholding company that has been created in 2007 under the impetus of Noor Financial Investment Company. Noor Telecom’s objective consists of delivering superior returns to its shareholders by directly investing in the Telecommunications sector. In the course of 2008, Noor Telecom has increased its capital to KD 100 Million.

Noor Telecom envisions building a portfolio of leading and growing telecommunication companies that would deliver superior returns. It has identified the Middle East, Asia and Africa as its prime target investment markets.

Noor Telecom developed an ecosystem of partners that will enable the successful management of the investment process. Those partners include, but are not limited to, regional telecom operators, equipment manufacturers, co-investors and advisors.

Noor Telecom is a shariah-compliant company, and therefore exclusively shariah-compliant investments will be considered. The company has retained Al-Mashora House for Islamic Consultants to act as the shariah advisor. Noor Telecom will be managed by Noor Financial Investment Company for a minimum period of 3 years.
